This is the journal page I created for the Secret Swappers Not So Secret CJ swap on UKS. The theme is "Fairy Spells" I used stamped images by Lavinia, various acrylic paints spread with a baby wipe, an Adirondak ink pad to "ground" my fairy, Jones Tones glitter, some liquid pearls, and I made up a poem for the spell for fairy dust

Alpha / Dictionary Challenge - The Craft Barn

To keep my mojo oiled, I have decided to join the Alpha / Dictionary Challenge being run by The Craft Barn via their blog. The format is, find a dictionary and start altering. I have decided to remove the pages from the dictionary and paste them onto white craft paper, which will be made into a journal at the end. I have only just come across this challenge so have leapt in a few weeks after the start, but hopefully I will be playing "catch up" (time permitting). This week's challenge is the letter F (fe-fr) and I have chosen the word "Fence". Here is my contribution below:

I have joined in a "Inchies & Twinchies" swap on UKScrappers, where you produce tiny pieces of work on 1 inch and 2 inch squares. There were 4 groups of 10 and I popped myself down for 2 groups of each. I had more of a problem with the Twinchies, the area just seemed a little too large to fill up somehow. Anyway, this is my contribution to the swap
